I am a singer and musical director based in South Manchester. I am a member of the Natural Voice Network, and believe that singing, especially in groups, has the power to connect people, reduce isolation, improve health and well-being and change lives, whilst creating something with real creative and artistic beauty. I am privileged to be able to share my passion for singing with my wonderful choirs every week.

My background as a trained musician (I am a cellist as well as a singer), combined with a BA in Music (University of Sheffield) and MA in Community Music (University of York) provide a great musical foundation for my work, and after 20+ years of leading singing I have developed a warm, engaging and encouraging style of leadership, with a focus on creating a great sound that we are all proud of.

As well as leading groups, I also am lucky enough to have been singing and performing with a small acapella group The Lovenotes for over 15 years, alongside jazz legend Helen Watson.
